Yash was born and brought with the name Naveen Kumar Gowda and is a South Indian actor. He was born in Bhuvanahalli, district Hassan in Karnataka in a middle-class family. He was born on 8th January 1986. He did his schooling in Mysore where he also spent his childhood from Mahajana High School. Once he completed his studies, he joined a drama group called Benaka which was formed by a known dramatist B. V. Karanth. This led his interest in this field of acting for obvious reasons. He started his career in acting with a TV show called Nanda Gokula directed by Ashok Kashyap aired at ETV Kannada. Some of his other TV shows include Uttarayana, Preethi Illada Mele, Male Billu, and Shiva.

Career : 

He did TV till 2007 and then got his first film called Jambada Hudugi bagging supporting role in it. Since then it was no looking back for the actor as he got a number of Kannada movies. These include Moggina Manasu, Rocky, Kallara Santhe, Gokula Raja, Thamassu, Modalasala, Rajadhaani, Kiraataka, Lucky, Jaanu, and Drama to name a few. Some of his recent movies include Googly, Raja Huli, Gajakesari, Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari, Masterpiece, and Santhu Straight Forward. His upcoming movies include KGF, My Name Is Kiraataka and Raana.

Awards and Recognition :

He bagged a few awards apart from being nominated to all the major award functions. He won the Best Actor Kannada for the film Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari along with getting the same awards from platforms like SIIMA and IIFA Utsavam. Also, his film Moggina Manasu also bagged the Best Supporting actor. Talking about her personal life, Yash made headlines for being in a relationship with the actress Radhika Pandit as they came close with their film Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari. Then got engaged in Goa in the year 2016 and got married the same year in December in Bangalore. The couple has been blessed with a baby girl in December 2018.

Besides, acting Yash is also involved in other work. He and his wife have rounded a charity organization called “Yasho Marga Foundation” which works for the betterment of society. Their group has been active in sorting out the water crisis occurred in Koppal district of Karnataka and have donated a huge amount of 4 crores for drinking water and other similar ventures.
