Karanvir Bohra was born as Manoj Bohra is a TV and film actor and also a producer. He is a known face in the small screen industry. He was born on 28th August 1982 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He is also a designer. He comes from a Marwari family and his father is a filmmaker Mahendra Bohra, while his grandfather was an actor-producer. He did his schooling at GD Somani Memorial School, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. He was good at sports in his initial days and not interested in academics. He completed his Junior College at Elphinstone College, Mumbai in Science.
However, after his 12th grade, he headed to Sydenham College, Churchgate for his graduation in commerce. He is also a trained classical dancer. He started working as a child artist in the film Tejaa in 1990 and later was seen on TV with the show called Just Mohabbat in 1999 as DJ Kabir. Since then he has turned a regular face in the small screen industry doing a number of TV serials. These included Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kkusum, Oberoi, Shararat, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Ek Se Badhkar Ek. He also worked as Assistant Director in CID and Achanak 37 Saal Baad.
His recent TV shows include Qubool Hai, Naagin 2, India’s Best Judwaah, Bigg Boss 11 and 12, Naagin 3, and Khatra Khatra Khatra. He also appeared in a few films including Kismat Konnection, Love You Soniye, Mumbai 125 KM, Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi, Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna, and the upcoming movie Ijjazat to name a few. He also appeared in a few web series, making his debut with The Casino in 2020. He will be appearing in another series called Bhanwar. Talking about his personal life, he is married to Teejay Sidhu in 2006 in Mumbai and the couple has two daughters. He bagged a few awards as well including ITA, Gold Awards, and Zee Rishtey Awards for his various shows.
