Wiki – Om Puri is an acclaimed actor in the Hindi film industry. He has acted in commercial as well as art films for more than four decades. He is the recipient of National Award for Best Actor twice. He has also received Padmashree award, which is the fourth highest civilian award, for his contribution to Indian cinema. He has also been part of many cross cultural films specially Indian-British films.

Bio – Om Puri was born on 8 October 1950 in Ambala Haryana. He is a graduate from film and television institute of India and a batch mate of Naseeruddin Shah at Indian school of drama 1973. He started his career from the 1976 Marathi drama Ghashiram Kotwal. Thereon he has been part of all facets of Indian cinema ,specially making a mark in the art or parallel cinema genre. He has worked with ace actors of the industry such as Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi, Smita Patil and Amrish Puri. Some of his most noted films include Bhavani Bhavai( 1980), Sadgati( 1981), Ardh Satya( 1982), Mirch Masala (1986)and Dharavi( 1992). His crowning glory came in the year 1982 when he received the National Award for best actor for this performance in Arohan. This was followed by 1984 released Ardh Satya which was also won him the same award.

Om Puri is reckoned as one of the senior and reputed actors in the Hindi film industry. His contribution to the British film industry is also acknowledged by the fact that he has been honored by the British film Industry with Honorary officer of the order of the British empire. In 2009, he received Filmfare LifeTime Achievement Award for his immensely successful acting career. He has even been honored with Padma Bhusan and Padma Shri, which is among the most honored awards in Indian Cinema. Bio – As far as his early life is concerned, he was born in Barabanki in UP in a Muslim family, while his father was in Indian Army. He is a new man in the Film Industry what we often call as Bollywood. Being known for his involvement of Yash Raj Films like Mardani and One By Two, he is yet to carve his niche in the industry. Hailing from Delhi, after his education in Mass Communications, he took up the career of a news journalists but his looks and good physique pushed him into full time modelling and then finally into the world of acting in B Town movies.   Once he entered in the modelling world, he headed to Mumbai the Mecca of glamour and films to try his luck in this domain.

This is where he got the opportunity to undergo a comprehensive program in body language and behavioral analytics from the prestigious school called Institute of Advance Acting and Behavioural Studies followed by going though competent acting workshops from the known group called Theatre Professionals Company in Bombay. This opened gates to the modelling world, which eventually guided him to the acting world, wherein he got the chance to work with two movies including One By Two and Kismet Love Paisa Dilla, before he got the chance to do a negative role in Mardani, which is a Yash Raj Film’s project.

Being into modelling, he also got the opportunity to work with a number of TV commercial ads including the ads of Samsung products. Shanoo Sharma (the casting director of Mardani) is the lady to spot him at the residence of stylist Niharika Bhasin asked him to give his pictures followed by calling him for the audition at Yash Raj Films studio. Though the casting director wasn’t that impressed by his pictures yet called him for the audition sensing something in this man for the negative role in Mardani. In the audition, he was offered a number of role by the casting director to finally find out the fire in himself, which fitted to the bill of the negative character for Mardani.

His performance as a ruthless and hardcore mastermind of child trafficking racket is really incredible, which has garnered a positive response from the audience and the critics. The casting director and the entire team of Mardani has been happy to see his best performance in negative role, which is certainly going to create the buzz around the B Town for sure. With this buzz, his acting career would take a good trail and giving lots of surprises for getting new movie offers very soon.

Siddharth Suryanarayanan is a popular Bollywood actor, playback singer and producer who also is a prominent figure in South Indian movies. He is born and brought up in Chennai in Iyer family. He went to DAV Boys Senior Secondary School in Chennai and later went to Delhi for her B Com and management degree. During her college days, he was involved in some of the popular theatre groups in Delhi called The Players, he remained active in social activities and was even the president of his college’s debating society and even participated in World Debating Championships. He did his MBA from Bombay from SPJIMR. He was known for his speaking skills, which even gave him the award of CNBC Manager of the year in 1999.

Siddharth started his career as an assistant director to Mani Ratman in his movie called Kannathil Muthamittal and later was seen in his movie called Shankar’s Boys.
