Jaideep Ahlawat is among the emerging actors of Bollywood who has acted in a number of movies. He hails from a village called Kharkara in Rohtak, Haryana wherein he was born and brought up at. After completing his education from FTII in 2008, he headed to Mumbai to pursue his dreams to become an actor. He then started his career in investment banking working with one of the big bulge bracket firms in Wall Street in NY before he returned to Mumbai in the nineties to pursue his career in modelling. Before entering the modelling course, he also attended certain courses in acting in LA and NY.

Soni made his debut in acting with a TV serial called Samandar wherein he was seen as a Navy Officer in 1995. The very next year he was seen in an English TV serial called A Mouthful Of Sky by Ashok Mathur, which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. He then got a number of TV serials Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, Dance Like Man, Saaksshi and Parichay apart from being seen in Bigg Boss in 2010.
