Sudeep is an Indian actor, and he remains most active in South Indian films. Besides, being an actor, he is also a TV presenter, singer, producer, and director. He was born on 2nd September 1973 in Shimoga, Karnataka. He did his schooling from Mysore and then went on to complete his B.Tech. In Industrial and production engineering from the known college Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore. He played cricket while remaining active in acting and similar things. His love for acting led him to join Roshan Taneja School of Acting in Mumbai, which he joined to get rid of shyness and polish his acting skills.

His career in film started with the film Thayavva released in 1997 and did a supporting role in his next movie called Prathyartha, however, he got his lead role with the film Sparsha. His first big hit was in the year 2001 with the film Huchcha. Some of his early movies include Vaalee, Chandu, Thuntata, Dhumm, Nandhi, Kiccha, Partha, and Swathi Muthu. He also did a couple of Bollywood movies, which started with the film Phoonk. He then got another film Rann with Big B, followed by other movies like Phoonk 2, to name a few. Some of his recent movies (including both Kannada and Tamil) include Ranna, Baahubali: The Beginning, Luv U Alia, Puli, Apoorva, Kotigobba 2, Mudinja Ivana Pudi, Mukunda Murari, Hebbuli, and Raju Kannada Medium.

Some of his upcoming movies include Kotigobba 3, Pailwan, and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. As a director, he did his films like My Autograph, Veera Madakari, #73 Shaanthi Nivaasa, Just Math Mathalli, Maanikya, and Kempe Gowda. He also owns his production company known as Kiccha Creations, and he produced the film My Autograph with it. Besides films, he was also active in small screen. He did his debut with the TV show called Premada Kadambari, which was a big hit. He played the lead role in the TV show called Big Brother, which is a reality show like Bigg Boss. He played the host in it for some of the seasons aired at Colors Kannada.

He is active in media as well and was enlisted in the Times 25 Most Desirable Men in Bangalore in the year 2012. He bagged the title – Abhinaya Chakravarthy by one of the Karanata state group. He has endorsements as well and has remained the Brand Ambassador of a Jewellery Retail Chain known as Joyalukkas. Also, he was the brand ambassador of Income Tax and Police Department of his state besides being the same for the IT group called Intex Technologies (India) Mobiles along with the famous footwear- Paragon Footwear. Talking about his personal life, he is married to Priya Radhakrishna, and the couple has a daughter.
